Everhour integration
Your hours in Everhour, without a timer
Okloq keeps track on your laptop of which project you are working on. After approval, the hours appear in Everhour, on a fixed task in the project.
After approval
What ends up in Everhour
- Hours on a fixed task per projectOn a task with a name you choose, for example Okloq. If that task does not exist yet, Okloq creates it.
- One time record per dayEverhour keeps one time record per task, day and person. Okloq adds new hours to it.
Setting up
What you need
- The API key from an administrator's profile.
- The name of the task the hours go to.
Okloq looks for the project with the project number in its name. Okloq finds colleagues by their email address or their Everhour user ID.
We switch the integration on together with you and check the first day together in Everhour.
How Okloq works
No clock to start, no hours to dig up
Okloq looks at which window is in front and recognises the project number in the window title, the file name or the subject of an email. Whether you are drawing, designing, writing code or preparing a quote: the time goes to the right project. At the end of the day a proposal is ready. You approve it, and only then do the hours go to Everhour.
Which windows and files you had open stays encrypted on your laptop. Okloq does not read what you type and takes no screenshots. How it works
Good to know
The type of work and non-billable are not sent. There is no start time. If a day is locked in Everhour, for example because it has been invoiced, Okloq does not book and you get a message. Okloq adds a short reference per entry in the comment, so nothing arrives twice. Leave it there. Okloq runs on Windows 10 and 11; the Mac version is still in testing.
Questions about Everhour
What you want to know before you start
Can hours arrive twice in Everhour if something goes wrong?
No. If Everhour is briefly unreachable, Okloq tries again later. Before each attempt, Okloq first checks whether the entry is already there.
Can earlier hours still be sent?
Yes. When switching on, you choose a date. Approved hours from that date onwards are still sent to Everhour.
Has the Everhour integration been tested?
The integration is built on the public API of Everhour and tested against a simulated environment. We are now testing it on real data with our first users. That is why we always switch the integration on together with you and check the first day together.
What does the Everhour integration cost?
We agree on that together. We set up the integration with you and test it on your own data. The PDF overview and the CSV file also work without an integration. Okloq's own prices are on the Pricing page.
Other integrations: Toggl Track · Clockify · Harvest · Productive · Scoro · Teamleader Focus
Everhour is a trademark of its owner. Okloq is not a partner of Everhour and is not endorsed by them; we use the public integration options.
